With a capex of 500 million the project will provide around 320 mw of power on land.
The 500 million project will begin construction mid 2020 and take approximately 18 months to build.
Vestas and downer group has been appointed by dp energy as the preferred contractors to develop stage 1 of the port augusta renewable energy park in south australia.
Dp energy has partnered with spanish renewable energy giant iberdrola to build stage 1 of the port augusta renewable energy park.
Dp energy submitted a development application to the south australian state commission assessment panel and received sa government approval for the project in july 2018.
