Wearing rubber gloves fill a large container or stainless steel. Wearing rubber gloves and following manufacturer s instructions prepare dye bath in bucket. Immerse sheepskin in dye. Empty 6l of warm water to a large bucket or basin.

Rinse sheepskin under running water until fully saturated. Soak the sheepskin in the basin for at least one hour. If you re using a real sheepskin allow for a few additional hours of soaking time. Fill the basin with enough lukewarm water to cover the sheepskin.

Pour 2 tbsp of liquid dishwashing detergent into a bowl. Remove the sheepskin from the water and lightly wring it out to get rid of excess water. The process fill your sizable basin with warm water and soak your faux sheepskin for about an hour. Wool requires an acidic fixing agent.

Add 2 cups of warm water and stir vigorously to form soap suds. Add the dye and vinegar mixture to the water and stir until it is.
